Helleborus x hybridus 'Double Hybrid' (often called Lenten Roses) are przed winter-flowering perennials.
They feature spectacular, frilly, multi-petaled blooms and thrive in dappled shade.
They prefer well-drained, humus-rich soil and make excellent, long-lasting cut flowers
Blooms: Thick, sturdy stems hold star-shaped white flowers well above the foliage. As they age, they gently blush pink.
Soil: Requires well-drained, compost-rich soil. They cannot tolerate being waterlogged ("wet feet").
Placement: Ideal for shaded borders, underplanting beneath deciduous trees, or brightening up winter containers
