Aeschynanthus Splendons

Aeschynanthus splendons (commonly known as the Lipstick Plant) is a cascading evergreen indoor plant famous for its glossy foliage and striking tubular red and orange flowers.

It is a very easy-care houseplant.

Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Avoid direct sunlight, which can easily scorch the leaves

Watering: Allow the top 2.5 cm to 5 cm of soil to dry out between waterings. Ensure the potting mix is well-draining to prevent root rot

Environment: Native to tropical regions, it thrives in warm, humid areas—making a bright bathroom an ideal location

Feeding & Pruning: Apply a liquid houseplant fertiliser once a month during the spring and summer growing season. Pruning the trailing stems back after the blooming cycle encourages fuller, bushier growth
