The culinary expert's tool of choice. The Santoku design is a level up from the Daily knife. Made for those who prefer greater precision in the kitchen.
This knife is made in Waiuku using high carbon steel recycled sawblades and a handle crafted from FSC-certified American ash wood.
Three brass rivets hold together the blade and the handle.
The No. 5 knife is made from Swedish carbon steel, which is produced from recycled saw blades. The handle is crafted from American Ash wood and is sourced from an FSC-certified supplier. Three brass rivets hold together the blade and the handle, producing a simple design which suits any kitchen.
Nůž was founded in 2019, but its roots go much deeper. Founder Madison Baker has knife-making in her DNA – back in 1983, her father started knife brand Svord. Watching her dad hand-making knives and turning his business into one of New Zealand’s best-loved hunting and fishing knife brands gave her a true appreciation for the craft.
