Aeschynathus Mona Lisa

The Aeschynanthus Mona Lisa is a native of Malaysia and Indonesia.

The red flowers are surrounded by dark green leaves, as though coming out of a dark tube; hence the moniker Lipstick Plant. With vines that can grow up to 1m this is a beautiful hanging indoor plant option.

WATER.

Mona Lisa prefers soil to be on the dry side but never leave totally dry. It can withstand a certain amount of drought but not overwatering so don't let the plant sit in water.

It will also benefit from regular misting.

CARE

Prune after flowering to encourage new thicker growth. Leaf drop will occur if too dry and yellow leaves indicate not enough light.
